Miniature American Empire Chest
This lovely two over three drawer miniature American empire chest sports original brasses, turned legs, rope-carved quarter columns, a lovely figured backsplash, and excellent construction. Both its case and drawers are dovetailed front and back. The cabinetmaker has also used tiny cut nails and pegs. Although this chest retains an old mellow refinish, all of its parts are original and without restoration.
