Circa 1880: This primitive two gallon pitcher is attributed to 19th century Philadelphia potter Thomas Haig, whose main competitor was Richard C. Remmey. Haig's work is far more scarce than Remmey's, and this pitcher is a fine example of Haig's folky style. The condition on this piece is outstanding, and we have priced the pitcher to sell.
