This 12" two gallon hanilton and Jones storage jar is decorated with four freehand stripes and a good deal of stenciled cobalt decoration. This a fine example of antique American nineteenth century utilitarian stoneware from one of southwestern Pennsylvania's most celebrated potters. Nice blue with good application and excellent condition, with freehand stripes and wonderful color to the pottery make this a nice addition to your collection.
