19th Century | Stoneware Doorstop with great surface.

The very idea of using a piece of stoneware as a doorstop eludes me. Imagining this dignified Spaniel taking a beating by my heavy oak door makes me shudder and appreciate the nice condition this piece is still in. Gone is the brown glaze, but full of character this piece has great presence.
