This beautiful one gallon stoneware pitcher is in factory mint condition and boasts excellent lines and freehand floral decoration that stretches its complete circumference. Undamaged stoneware pitchers with this amount of decoration are very hard to find, and this wonderful and affordable example of 19th century blue decorated stoneware attributed to Philadelphia's premier potter, Richard C. Remmey, will make a lovely addition to any collection of fine early American antiques. We also have an unusual lidded butter crock with matching decoration currently in stock.
