Early Redware Dog in Doghouse Humidor

Circa 1880s

The six color polychromatic paint decoration on this charming late 19th century tobacco humnidor gives it superb visual appeal. Measuring 6 1/2" tall, 5 1/2" wide, and 8 1/4" deep and stamped 1340 on its underside, this uncommon dog in doghouse figural redware humidor is finely detailedand is in mint condition, save a minor spider on the inside of the lid which does not go through to the outside.
